When interacting you can ask someone to read your story, and you'll read theirs. If they give you bad criteria, don't cuss them out. Just accept and thank them for reading your story. Also, always comment on the work of other readers. They'll appreciate and like that you read and commented on their work, and maybe they'll read your story in return.
