In the garden I saw Damien so I started to go the other way when Damien stopped me.

“Can we talk?”

“I-I have things on my mind.”

“Please.”

I sighed, rethinking the possibilities that can happen if I talk to him. “Might as well.” I looked at the statue of the council president. There was a nest in its ear; its mother was feeding her three baby chicks. The father was nowhere in sight.

“I am sorry that I killed them, your family”

I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath. Not believing what I’m about to say."It’s not your fault, you were forced to. I’m sorry I was so mad earlier, I didn’t mean to snap out on you.”

“It’s okay.”

He took a deep breath.

He looked relieved. “So what’s your problem?”

I sighed.

I thought, I have to decide If I should become a Silver Soul. I don’t know if I’ll make the right choice.

I thought for a while until I smiled.

“So what do you choose?” Damien said urgently.

“I choose yes.”

He was so excited he pulled me into a hug.

“Have I ever told you, you are the most beautiful women I have ever seen?”

I look up at him and smile.

“No, actually not.”

The first kiss was amazing.

The second kiss he lifted me up bridal style and carried me to the bench.

By the third we fell on the floor, still kissing.
