“Someone is coming for you...” The voice started to slowly fade with an evil crackle as I stood there with my teeth chattering in astonishment, Why me? Why is it ALWAYS me, my parents apparently abandoned me, as my aunt says, Serena turned her back against me and now I have THIS, this??
All because of THIS I have got to live with the embarrassment of people at school staring at me laughing and screaming “Hey that was the chick that was screaming across the hallway, oh my god she is such a beast, let’s go up to her” and some of the people in school even thanked me for interrupting their learning.
So what! let the beast or devil or whatever it is come after me... I don’t care! I slowly stepped along the rain patted road the heels of my boots clicked against the road as I walked thoughts gathered in my head I decided that I was going to speak to Alexia the next day, It may sound stupid ,but, I had a reason..
I woke up with a headache it pumped and banged and hurt SO much , I didn’t have any sleep at all I stayed up all night thinking about everything that has happened and everything that COULD happen.. I slowly stroked my lip gloss against my light pink lips, threw my bag over my shoulder and started down stairs.
I walked along them perfectly polished hallway of the school as whispers gathered around me, people stared and gazed, while I tried my hardest to ignore them I just walked along to Alexia, she sat there as usual by herself on the bench playing with her dangly leather bracelet, her black chocker necklace suffocated her and made her struggle to breath when she sensed my presence she glared at me her eyes hissed and cursed at me as I walked towards her I stopped and hesitated but then I realised that there was no other way.
I stood in front of her shaking with nerves
“What do you want?” She whispered rudely
“I just wanted to ask you…” my words slowly faded with doubt
“Yes?” Alexia hissed back
My hand slowly reached into my bag reaching for the pictures, I hesitantly took my hand out of my bag and lightly reached them out to show Alexia
“Do you, perhaps know who or what this is?” My voice was shaky from the nerves. Alexia smirked and looked up at me not saying word for moments she just stayed in the same position
“Is that a yes?” I asked impatiently breaking the silence
Alexia giggled evilly “Work your way through the puzzle yourself” Alexia got up and whispered in my ear and slowly walked away.
“Wait!” I screamed desperately behind Alexia everybody stared at me while I looked down at the floor with my eyes watering heavily. Three girls walked up to me the smiled and giggled hugging their arms together one of the girls finally spoke “So…what does it feel like to be the beasty freak of the school?” They all giggled meanly finally a tanned, stunning girl came up to us and stood there her curly brown, long hair jumped in the air
“What are you talking about?! Jimena is beautiful and is not a beast so back away you freaks! Or I will make YOU the freaks of the school” Her word were stern and defensive. One girl stood forward to speak “In what way is she not the beast of the school, everybody knows that she is you can ask around” The other girls nodded in agreement.
“Well, first of all I don’t care about what other people think and secondly she is much better looking than you, you are a perfect example of… A BEAST!” She insulted sternly
The girls started to walk away.
“Thank you so much! I finally have someone who doesn’t think I’m a beast…” I forced a smile onto my face
“The name is Serena and I hate the way they treat you around here, let’s head out…” We walked along to outside of the school
“Do you have a ride?” Serena offered
“No… It’s ok, I’ll walk” I smiled shyly
“Uh-uh, No you are not, People are going start cursing at you again when you walk home, I know that they do” she Replied demanding
“20Baywalk Avenue” I replied smiling, I finally had someone there for me. We jumped into her jeep convertible and revved the engine, off we went. The breeze flew through our hair and sent a cool and relaxing feeling I realised that we were heading into town
“Where are we going? I live at 20Baywalk Avenue not here” I shouted feeling scared
“You honey, need to relax we’re heading to the best spa in the town! Just to get your mind off things” Serena smiled as the wind flew through her hair.
“That’s exactly what I need” I smiled with thankfulness I finally had someone who cared about me. As we were driving along the smooth road I suddenly found myself in a dark alleyway with nothing but crocked, brown trees surrounding me “Where am I?” I whispered my stomach turned but in the blackness I saw a figure slowly creeping towards me..
