Chapter 35: Knuckle Under

Drake and I both fell asleep beside each other, he was holding me tight that night and I was sleeping in his chest.

Then a voice called my name and that is when I woke up, this familiar voice came from Alexa my best friend.

"So- sofia, wake up, sofia are you okay?!" She exclaimed in the middle of the forest na nakapag- pagising sa akin pati sa aking diwa.

Drake and I both woke up because of Alexa's wake up call.

When I open up my eyes I saw a lot of people, parang halos buong member ng home economics club ay nasa harapan namin.

Then I suddenly realized that Drake and I was in the most awkward position na kung saan may maaaring magduda sa amin.

Kaya as soon as I looked at Drake's face I stood up sabat tulak sa kaniya.

Then I recieved a nice and warm embrace from Alexa, "Sofia, what happened to you , is your foot okay?" Tanong niya habang alalang- alala sa akin.

"No- no, nothing happened wrong to worry about, okay lang ako, tsaka di narin masyadong masakit yung sprain ko sa paa." I replied to Alexa.

"Mabuti naman pero wait, why are you and Drake were sleeping right next to each other?" Tanong ni Alexa sa akin sa kaniyang pag- tataka.

Then Drake stood up close to me and held my hands pero I was very surprised that's why I let go.

"Wa- wala malamig lang kagabi, pati nga ako I didn't knew what happened and why did it happened." I reasoned out to Alexa's question.

"Ta- tara na... le- let's go gutom na gutom na ako, gusto ko ng kumain." I said while walking away.

Then naka- salubong ko si Ford sa daan and he was just standing their, I thought he was surprised because he saw Drake and I together.

I thought he would just walk away, pero no he did not, he was not even surprised, his face was so emotionless.

"Fo- Ford, wha- what are you doing here tsaka bakit ka nakatayo sa gitna ng kagubatan, tara na balik na tayo." I said.

Hinawakan ko ang braso ni Ford and lumingon sa likod seeing Drake a bit jealous then I said without a voice,

"Ano ba sumakay ka nalang." Sabi ko kay Drake sa likuran namin then Alexa said something.

"Sofia don't you ever do that again I was very very worried of you, akala ko di ka na namin mahahanap." She shared.

"Ano kaba be positive and what's nore important you guys found me." I replied to Alexa.

I looked at Ford's face and said, "Am I right?" Tanong ko and it took so long for Ford to answer my question that's why I repeated it.

"Ford hello, is there a problem?" Tanong ko kay Ford na spaced out na spaced out.

Napatingin siya sa akin and then he smiled but it felt weird,

It feels like his smile isn't sincere, parang ibang Ford ang kinakausap ko.

Pero he still showed a bright image infornt of me, kahit na parang mukha siyang nasasaktan.

Nang makarating na kami sa aming resting place I searched for food, because I was really hungry.

"May pagkain ba diyan? Anyone please help me I'm just really hungry, I need food." I asked for something to eat.

I searched for my bag if I have some food right their but I went down to the kitchen sadly because I wasn't able to find something to eat.
