The United Isles (The UI)

Before we start, a brief note: This Entry and the next will have very little in the way of flora and fauna, at least in terms of description. The reason for this is because many of the creatures on these isles have already been mentioned in previous entries, and thus no more description is needed, or the creatures are very well known and need no description.

The United Isles(or the UI for some) are a group of islands that have been the shining example of democracy and lack of governmental corruption. These islands are also known as the "Compass Islands," for on a map they would be where one would place a compass or where a compass rose would be, and there are four islands for each compass direction, as well as four in the center, making for twenty islands in total.

Red Fox - small wild canine, can have silver or yellow fur
Hawk - a bird that has many variations on feather pattern
Dog - a tamed canine kept as pets
Cat - tamed feline kept as pets
Peafowl - the males are what the species is known for, known as peacocks. The males have large plumage and come in blue or green, or rarely white, while the females are pale grey and have no fancy plumage
Magical
Angel - A creature that appears to be a human with the white wings of a dove. They have innate Life and Nature magic. They can learn Death magic after training, be it of their own accord or via a mentor. When they are in battle, golden ethereal feathers trail behind them, seeming to come from their wings. Their preferred weapon is a longsword, but they can use other weapons if need be
Fairy - creatures that appear as humans with butterfly-shaped wings made from light, and seem to have a glow of light. They can vary in size and can be small enough to mistaken for a large firefly, or as tall as 7 feet. They are the closest thing to an Eidolon that anyone on the UI has ever seen. They have innate Light magic abilities, and even know a few spells that aren't part of a Light Mage's curriculum
Unicorn - a breed of equine that has whit fur and a single, spear-like horn coming from their forehead. They are very docile creatures, and have access to all types of magic, but they generally use Life magic to heal those that are pure of heart
