Lost
Arms open wide
Love’s warmth becomes unconditional
The guiding light to all else
Ignites a fire inside like no other
And then spirals into something better
Now like a limpet I cling
To the hopes and dreams
Once promised
Afraid to let go
Least I find myself
Undoubtedly lost
Searching the winds
For the love once lost.
