I turned the cover of my first book into an animation! Aside from Photoshop-ing things and static graphic design, I love creating animated/motion graphics!
No, I did not create hundreds of still images in Photoshop for this gif. Lol. I used After Effects for this little project (one of my favorite applications besides Illustrator and Photoshop).
I rendered this as a Quicktime .mov file (5.6 gb) to retain some higher quality, before converting it into H264 .mp4, then converting it AGAIN to a little bitty .gif file. I'm so happy I was able to get this file size down to 3mb to fit on Wattpad!
Animated aspects: rotating/spinning dragons, fade-in character heads, and glare flying across title.

I love this thing. Looks complicated, but it gets easier to understand with practice.
