"And they're finally here!" Gil said.

"I thought we had agreed on noon, Gil," Ezekiel said.

"And guess what time it is!" Gil said., looking at his watch. "Ezekiel, Ezekiel, it's 12:15! We cannot have that!" He said.

A feeling of fear gathered in my throat watching this.

"We didn't mean to discard the deal, all of us!" Ezekiel said.

"And I know that, but you did," Gil said.

"Really, we do not mean to cause harm," Ezekiel said.

Gil rolled his eyes and said,"Just give me the load, Ezekiel."

I started to unload everything, and it seemed to take forever in my mind.

Not once did I look at Ezekiel.

"And last time, you were one off. We'll let you go these first two times, but three strikes, and your out," Gil said, getting in the truck.

"Hey, Daisy, you okay?" Gil asked once we got moving.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine," I said with a reassuring smile.

I checked my watch just as I was about to leave. 1:51. Perfect.

I grabbed my picture of Nick and slowly walked out the door. I was dressed in all black, and had a backpack full of my belongings on my back.

I crept down the hallway, trying my best to not make a sound.

And I had almost made it when I turned the corner and ran into someone.
