How could we eat
And savor sweet fruits
While others beg
For a piece of stale bread
How could we live
In enchanting castles
Where roofs protect us
From the mighty rain
While others roam
From street to street,
Looking for a cardboard box
To sleep under.
How could we sleep
In our comfortable beds
Made with the finest silk
The softest pillows
While others sleep
On concrete streets
Stomped by moving feet
How could we bathe
In pure clean waters
With perfumed soaps
While others plea
For a drop of fresh water
How could we wear
Opulent clothes
Adorned with sparkling jewels
While others shiver
From the wind's cold blows
How could we murder
Kill innocent lives
Deprive families from fathers
And increase the rate
Of wailing mothers
Innocent little orphans
And deceased corpses
That quench death's thirst
For blood
How could we laugh
When our eyes lie upon
Tears shed by angels
How could we be...
How ... Could... We .. Be
So heartless?
