Today..

I rode the bus. I had a black eye. The bus is pretty full and I saw someone walking in the aisle.

"Hi, Aiden."

"Matilda."

"Would you mind to sign for a petition?"

"What petition?"

"Petition to save the Polar bears. I need almost 500 signatures."

I smirk, making her face light up, I grab the folder and signed.

"Thank you so much, Alden!"

She gave me a huge smile. She stared at my face for a little bit.

"You have a black eye."

"I can see that."

"You got to ice that."

"I know."

She took a seat behind me and she tried to talk to the people behind her, who is really ignoring her.

The bus stopped and I stood up, I looked at her and she waved goodbye.

"Promise me, you gonna ice that."

I let out a loud laugh, making people to look at me.

"I promise."

I can't believe I actually laugh. This time, not because of pain or sarcasm. But, Happiness.

I went down and she let out a huge smile, before the bus drove away. My parents aren't home, I went to the kitchen and iced my black eye before they got home.

I was pretty popular, you see. I don't know why. I hate being popular. I hate it when people stare at me. Matilda is different, I can feel that she wasn't pretending to like me.

But then again, She's too nice.
