Dear Diary,

I watched as the children, adults, and the elderly were being taken out. I was one of those who were taken on off first because it was hard for me to walk. The German soldiers grouped the female from the male, and the elderly. The elderly such as I, were sat on a wooden wagon like vehicle which was pulled by Jews who were brought here before.

I don’t know what they are going to make us do here? I’m old, I can’t do much. What do they do to those who don’t do anything? Will I just end up sitting around here doing nothing? Or will they hurt me?

I have to go shower along with all the other elderly, in big chambers with smoke coming out of the top of the building. I can hear screams, and they have wheel barrows at the end doors. Is this really a shower?

I hope so...
