Close to immediately after her training was finished she was needed on the battle field, with several of our other greatest members.
One of them managed to survive the firey explosion and the hands of our elvish enemies.
He told me that Penelope fought bravely and managed to survive the flames, but he couldn't run fast enough to pick her back up after she fell off his shoulders, and Penelope is now in the hands of the elves, were doing our best to get her back.
