Through My Eyes

Through my eyes, you're as stunning as the sunsetting sky;

As radiant as the moon, gold against the gloomy night.

Through my eyes, you are as vivid as the morning light;

Sparkling like the stars, you're heavenly; unreached, up high.

Through my eyes, you are the owner of the sweetest smile,

The one that makes my heart melt in just a single snap;

The one that makes everything around you lighten up,

Making you stand out among the crowd within a mile.

Through my eyes, you are the focus of my very sight,

Closed, in sleep, you still haunt me like a magical trance;

Wrapped within a charmed aura, always in a poised stance,

Pulling me like gravity in which I could not fight.

Through my eyes, I saw them looking back... your mystic eyes,

Diligently curious, visibly reflecting mine;

Questioning the reason why, searching for a slight sign,

And then I blinked away, hiding what they signify.

Through my eyes, I saw your figure by the empty hall,

Your back facing me; with silent steps, there I was drawn.

Hands soon appeared, your hair was clutched, I turned into stone;

My lungs went burned, my view went blurred, tears started to fall.

Through my eyes, I saw through yours... I'm stunning like gray sky;

As radiant as the moon, pale behind a misty night.

Through your eyes, I'm as vivid as a rainy day light;

Sparkling like a shattered glass, thrown away from up high.

Through my eyes, blindingly, I saw your lovely orbs glow;

Radiating affection, to me, I wish you'd show.

Yet, through my eyes, no matter how hard, I'll take the blow;

I'll be seeing you glad as it's sure worth my sorrow.
