it's in the dark i find
the darkest things in me;
my darkest monsters hide
in the places you can't see
and when i venture into the dark
it's dark things that i'll find
breaking down my walls
and tearing up my mind.
and i don't listen when they say
that light will send them away
because the darkest monsters also hide
in the brightest light of day.
