present day

Emily stared at the beautiful picture taken on her wedding day, they had been married for 2 year now,it was truly a magical day. Aiden knew from the start that he couldn't give Emily anything regarding status or a name, but she didn't care. He gave her love, honesty and he wouldn't cheat on her. Emily was finally truly happy. Alexis and Isabel were doing great, they were 3 years old and happy as ever. After the marriage Aiden decided he wanted to be their father not only by taking care of them but also on paper, so he adopted them and the girls were now Alexis Amanda and Isabel Amiyah Mathis.  After the marriage in Hawaii, the young family had left Chicago and went to the Maldives, just like Emily and Aiden had talked about in the past. The summer was nearing and they were talking about where to spend it, they had already spend it in California, France and Brazil. Nolan wanted Emily to come back to the Hamptons, she shouldn't be afraid of the Graysons he said and beside you love it here and so will your daughters. Emily was not afraid of the Graysons, absolutely not. But... she didn't leave the Hamptons on a happy note, so The Hamptons only reminded her of what she had lost with Daniel, but at the same time, losing Daniel meant gaining a happy life with Aiden. Besides Amanda and Jack had been married for 5 years and wanted to celebrate their anniversary, so Emily really had no reason of not going... ' Ems we should go, I know you miss the Hamptons and you wouldn't want to miss the anniversary now would you ? and as for the Graysons we will deal with them in the Hamptons if we have to. So with that said plans were made for the return to the Hamptons in about a month.

The Hamptons

In 3 years a lot had changed in the Hamptons, everybody was just living their lives. Jack and Amanda had their son Carl who was 5 at the moment and they were expecting a baby girl and they were planning on telling everyone at the anniversary. Charlotte and Declan were going strong for a while untill Declan decided that enough was enough. Charlotte had a drug problem and did not want to face it, she was always jaelous and he just couldn't take it anymore. Victoria and Conrad were divorced, Victoria was with Pascal Lemarchal and Conrad was with Lydia Davis if he wasn't sharing the sheets with his secretary. And as for Daniel.. well, Daniel finally managed to be happy with a girl named Eliza Shay, someone who was approved by Victoria can you believe it ?! But Daniel being Daniel had cheated on her with Margaux, so Eliza had left him. Margaux and Daniel had decided to give things a shot but somehow they knew they were destined to fail. Margaux knew she didn't want to spend her life with someone as immature as Daniel and someone who was also her stepbrother and Daniel well, he was still thinking about Emily, no one knew except for his mother. She had always said that Emily Thorne would be the end of her son, she always thought death or bankrupcy, but this was even worse. He kept thinking about her and threw away every good thing that had happened in his life.

The Hamptons in the summer

Emily and Aiden had arrived in the Hamptons, it wasn't until Emily was in the beachhouse watching over the beach that she had realized how much she had actually missed the Hamptons. It was a beautiful evening so Emily decided to go out for a stroll with Isabel, Alexis was already asleep so Aiden decided to stay home so he could watch her. 'mummy where are we going ?' Uncle Nolan Emily replied, she was really happy to hear that seeing as Uncle Nolan always bought them the biggest and best presents. They were walking past the beach on their way to Nolans house when Emily noticed someone in Grayson manor staring down at them, that person obviously being Victoria Grayson..

Nolans mansion

'Uncle Nolan Uncle Nolan' 'Heee how is my little princess doing ?' Nolan and Emily couldn't be happier to see each other and Isabel was also happy to see her uncle again. They went outside to watch a beautiful sunset and they talked a little more about life. Eventually Isabel fell asleep in Nolans arms and he saw that as a sign to ask questions about the Graysons, Emily was not concerned about them, 'the Graysons hate me and as for Daniel he thinks that Aiden is the father so yeah..' Emily and Nolan talked a little more untill Emily decided it was time to go, she picked up Isabel and she and nolan said their goodbyes and Emily left to go home.
