"What?!" i screamed.

Marcus looked at me anxiously. "What? What?"

I ignored his as Miah gave a loud sigh. "That's all i know. We've tried everything. She's gone."

I shook my head angrily as Marcus kept giving me these looks that said whatthefuckisgoingon???

Miah broke the silence "When are you coming back?"

I looked down at the dark green grass and yellow sand i stood on. I shook my head and said the most honest thing that i could, "I do not know."

Miah sighed, "Alright"

Marcus stared at me angrily. I turned away. "Look, i have to go. Alright?"

She sighed. "Alright."

I hung up the phone and stared out at the bright blue ocean that swayed before my eyes. Trees rolled over our heads. Marcus coughed expectantly. I turned and with a sad look told him what had happened.

                                                             Death

The pain was unbareable.

My head and chest was on fire, the burning ripping through me. I looked over at Anna, her black coat and red dress stopping just above her knees and her brown hair was straight and flying out as a whirlwind surrounded her. Her eyes were pulsing dark and her skin was becoming more visible with each second as i was becoming more invisible. My body was crumbling, burning and aching. She stood before me, heels clicking as she walked towards me.

She leaned down and whispered into my ear. "My poor dearest, give up now. You are no match for me. You see the Ultima loves Evil and i my love am Evil; you are not."

She stood with a flurish and walked back to where she'd been standing. She looked at me.

She was winning.

And i was letting her.

I struggled to stand. I was still Death. I still had more power than she did. I stood and looked at her, my eyes going red. I laughed manically and lifted a finger and said in a voice that was not my own, "I my love am still Death." And with a flick i sent a wave of agonizing pain at her.

She screamed and i laughed. "You fool." i whispered to her.

                                              Althea

The cold was leaking into my bones, my skin crawling. Tears rolled down my face as the ropes rubbed deeper into my skin. I closed my eyes, afraid to look as the footsteps came near. A male voice and a female laugh. My body was shaking.

"Goddess please" i prayed "Give me strength, forgive me."

The door creaked open and i pushed myself back against the wall. A hand clasped my arm roughly and pulled me up. I squirmed but they kept pushing me forward. They pushed me into a hallway, the floor cold beneath my bare feet. Everything was silent, nothing moved. The hand stopped me, and i heard a door open.

"Open your eyes," the voice was rough and i shook my head stubbornly.

A snap and i was pushed onto the ground. A hand clasped my neck and i fought to breath.

"Stop!" i tried my hardest to scream.

They kept sqeezing until i finally opened my eyes. The room was bright and i coughed as the hand released me. A booted foot stepped into my line of vision and my eyes sought the face of this evil man. He was handsome, short black hair in the  back and red bangs in the front. His eyes were the color of blood and his skin was pale. He wore a black suit over his skinny frame and had a walking stick in his hand.

"Hello Althea" he said

I struggled  to stand and he watched me with a dark smile on his face. He was a head taller than me. He looked me over and smiled, taking my arm. I flinched but he was gentle with me. He walked me around the room, dismissing the two large bodygaurds he had with him. They left and he cleared his throat. "So dearest Althea, tell me about yourself."

I hesitated and instead asked "How do you know me?"

He laughed and shook his head, "Not all secrets are meant to be known."

I eyed him and then asked "Then what do you want from me?"

By this time, he had led me into another hallway. This one wasnt as bright  as the others, but it was much longer. He smirked and stopped us, running his fingers across my check. "You will find your answers in time my love."

He kept walking, until stopping infront of a large black door. He slowly took the lion shaped doorhandle and opened the door slowly. His eyes twinkled as i stepped in. The room was large. A four poster bed sat in the middle. Red comforter and sheets with black pillows covered it. The walls were draped with different pictures and tapestries. One picture was of a lion, proud and strong, roaring at the sky. Another was of a small doe, running through the tall grasses of a small field. Three tapestries were draped delicately around the room. One was of two faeires, they were twins, dark and light. They were facing away from each other, each looking up into a different sky. The dark faerie stared at a dark sky while the light faerie looked up into the sun.

The second tapestry was of a girl standing before a fire, hands up towards the moon. The fire roared over her. Her long silver dress wrapped around her feet and her long black hair rolled down her back in waves. The last tapestry was very peculiar. It was just of a girl. She had short cropped black hair as if it been chopped off. Her skin was very pale, scars adorning her arms and bare chest. Her eyes were closed. I stepped closer to it and with a shocked gasp, realized it was me.

I turned and he smiled at me. "Who are you?!" i scream.

He smiled and leaned close, catching me and pulling me against him. "I am Death's worst nightmare. My name is Korran and you are mine now."
