Such a high place
Grace:
from which to fall.
A straight descent
no circumvent
to prevent
landing hard.
Can one surmise
downfall surprise
from upward rise?
When space was
step up laddered
conscience unstirred
repercussions unheard.
Where appetite was all
before the blind
inevitable fall.
