The darkest corners

Have you seen the darkest corners of my mind?

The corners that hide my darkest thoughts.

The thoughts that appear at 3 am in the morning

While everyone is sleeping,

I am alone with my thoughts

The ones that keep me awake

When I look into your eyes

You can't notice them

'Cause they hide in the light of the day

and come out at night

Like monsters creeping around in my mind

at 4 am in the morning

They won't let me sleep anymore

While everyone wakes up

I finally fall asleep, but it doesn't matter

Because my thoughts, they haunt my dreams

And I still can't sleep in peace

As I rise in the morning, I see

My eyes in the mirror

My eyes should be the mirror of my soul

But all I see is a blank stare

Have you seen the darkest corners of my mind?

You've seen them, because

I've seen the darkest corners of your mind

And you've seen mine.

You're just like me. No more blank stares into a mirror

The blank stares changed into happy eyes
