I miss the days when we were young,
playing in the sun
or when we used to yell and scream,
running from our moms.
All those days I took for granted, the wonderful thing I had,
A friendship that would last forever,
Even when we were mad.
But now it feels as if it's breaking,
falling fast apart.
And If we work at it we might just mend it,
but we will have to start,
and with our heart
We must wish our friendship together,
Forever

PoetryI found this old poem that I wrote in (probably) grade 3 or 4 about my friendship with a school friend when we were starting to grow apart and figured I'd post it. I've edited it a bit because I can spell better now :)
