you know that time in your life when you don't know who to trust
or you wonder who loves you?
don't worry because God's always watching over you
He loved you, a sinner, so much that He gave His only son
I'm sure if it was you
you would have already run
because you are afraid to die
But God loves us so much that He sacrificed His son
so that we could live
live a life where we could be forgiven
for whatever sins we committed
He suffered for you
He suffered for me
but most of all
He suffered to set us free
He carried a heavy cross up Hill Calvary
He did this so that we could see His love
Even in his last moments, He forgave a man's crime
In His last moments He pleaded and cried
He forgot the sting of the whip and the pain of the nails
because now He was burdened
Burdened with all the worries
all the complaints
He placed them on His shoulders
Holding up His own weight and the weight of the sins of ours
He promised He'll return
He promised that He'll always be with us
so when you feel alone,when you feel sad and captured
don't worry He'll release us
He'll stay with us
He'll never leave us
he'll always love us
the man who's one with God and one with the Spirit
He's the one that died for sins, our wrong doings
He's the one that saved us
the Holy, sin-free man who protects us, sinners
His name is one that will always be part of us
His name is the one and only
Christ Jesus
