“What is it?” Lilia asked softly, shifting forward, as they pulled away from the dock.

“Some kind of raid. Cars seen.” Andy glanced back at the girls. “It's safer at the Pack Estate.”

She nodded and slid back into her seat, making sure both girls had their seatbelts on. The drive was quiet, tense, Andy speeding a little. Randy, on the other hand, must have been really going for it. That car vanished after ten minutes. She suspected Edmund wouldn't be happy about that- he'd want to keep an eye on their car- but Randy was Randy and he had the Alpha and the Alpha's son to protect.

“I got to go pee.” Beth complained, shifting in the seat. Half an hour into the drive.

“Now?”

Beth nodded, shifting uncomfortably beside Lilia, and Susan sighed. “We better stop.”

“There?” Andy asked. Susan nodded.

They pulled up, Susan hurrying in after Beth, and after a moment Andy decided to take Julia. Lilia followed them into the fast food place, the unfamiliar smells assaulting her nose, smells of meat and food. She was kind of hungry. So while they were doing that she got food for everyone.

“Is that car on fire?”

Lilia spun around, as did everyone else, and found herself staring at the Pack Car. On fire. It was literally on fire.

“Shit, call 911. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you could all exit out the back away...”

The car exploded. Windows exploded in, people screamed, and there was a rush for the back door. Lilia got caught up in it, trying to get to the bathroom, as humans panicked. She found herself shoved out the door and in the carpark, as people backed away from the door, workers exiting.

Kale met her eyes. Barely two metres away, waiting calmly, arms crossed. Panic flooded Lilia, as she backed up, backing up into someone else. Someone who shoved something into the small of her back.

“You come with us, Lilia, or we go in there and use that on Susan and Andrew.” Kale's eyes went for one of the other people standing there calmly, another tall man, their eyes meeting. Werewolves. Northern Pack. “It's time to come back now. Or we'll shoot you in the spine, and take you anyway. Only we'll also take the girls.”

She gritted her teeth, legs starting to shake, as they led her into the van. Lilia was shoved into the back, the man with the gun jumping behind her, and the van took off.

“Now, or when we get back?”

“Strip her now.” Kale leaned back, arms crossed. She saw it suddenly, saw this man with the authority of an Alpha, staring at him. Had he killed the other Alpha?

“You're the Alpha?”

A foot slammed into her head, knocking her down, stunning her.

“Bitch, don't look the Alpha in the eyes.”

She felt hands tugging at her pants, tearing them off violently, shoes falling away and sock covered feet finding the cold metal of the van's sides. Lilia struggled as they stripped her, as they tied her up, eyes boring onto her skin and burning it without even touching it.

“We'll pull up when we're in our territory.” Kale said casually. “You can have her then.”

Lilia lay there on her side, arms bound behind her back, fear racing through her. Edmund. Would he know? Would he come for her? She felt the ground racing under the van, suspected it was speeding, her body getting colder by the second.
