"Can we get a big white dog?" Vivien asked in a small voice, his eyes having yet to open to the morning light, of an intense orange shade thanks to the curtains.

Judeikas smiled at that, scooting closer to run a finger down Vivien's naked shoulder.

"I want small black cat." he murmured.

Vivien hummed disapprovingly. "No..." he finally opened his eyes tiredly, with a pout to go. In that light, the orange in his eyes stood out exquisitely. "Dogs are loyal, hyperactive and fun..."

"But cats are cute, cuddly and playful..."

"Well you have me for all that." Vivien murmured, stretching his arm over Judeikas's neck. Then, he snickered to himself as a thought crossed his mind, and his half opened eyes closed.

"I tell you what... we get a dog, and I'll purr and meow for you all you want."

Judeikas chuckled. "Really... I'd like a sample of that before taking any decision."

Vivien cleared his throat, huffed in amusement a couple times then opened his eyes.

"Meow." he croaked out monotonously. "Meow, meow."

Judeikas burst out in roars of laughter, rolling on his back and covering his eyes with an arm. He attempted moving away from Vivien as he approached with his monotonous, lifeless meows.

"That's- horrible!" he sobbed, wiping an eye with the arm. "Jesus, Vivién!" he sighed in relief once the man stopped and settled down.

Vivien watched happily as Jude panted for breath, his half-circle pendant raising with the heaves of his chest, and his abs contracted just above the blanket on his waist.

"No." Judeikas shook his head. "I'll buy you a dog just to never do that again."

Vivien giggled, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes.

"But as a compromise... It will be a black dog." Judeikas stated, and Vivien nodded happily, before placing his head on his chest. Judeikas started scratching his scalp, and Vivien groaned, sliding his leg up Judeikas's.

But then a thought crossed Vivien's mind, and it sent him sitting straight up, all sleep gone from his features.

Judeikas propped himself on his elbows, watching him wearily.

"Oh..." Vivien voiced, then slowly turned his head towards Judeikas, eyebrows pinched. Turning around, he positioned himself on his hands and knees, and he approached Jude.

     "Day..."

Judeikas cocked his head. "What about him?"

"We'll move to Europe, he'll remain in America..." Vivien said, sorrily lowering his head on his arms, crossed on the mattress. "There's no way he'll visit me monthly... It was one thing coming with the train, but plane?"

Judeikas moved his weight on one arm to pat Vivien's hair. At that, Viv's eyes peeked from behind his arms up at Judeikas, eyelashes batting.

"Will we visit him instead? From time to time?"

Judeikas scoffed, letting his head roll backwards. He smiled lightly at the ceiling, then sighed.

"Vivién, you got me into promising you a dog by merely pouting. I'm starting to believe there is little I wouldn't do for you."
