This was an idea at first from the feeling of being trapped, like a bird in a cage. Someone not being allowed to reach their full potential because of other people. A flightless bird standing on a rooftop
With dreams unheard and thoughts that will never stop
The hope of flight dies within their haunting sight

Mortal enemies sigh with relief
As the other one sleeps
