The rogue attacks aren't clear, I am aware of that. It is how I want it to be, a little vague. It WILL be brought into light in the later chapters! I like this chapter very much. I tried to add a lot to it. :)

Chapter 14

I was waiting for so long.
For a miracle to come,
Everyone told me to be strong.
Hold on and don't shed a tear,
Through the darkness and good times.
I knew I'd make it through,
And the world thought I'd had it all,
But I was waiting for you.

"Please,Gale! Tell me what the hell is happening?" I asked once I took a seat on one of the many puffy couches that were sprawled all around the room.

"I don't think you should know.." He trailed on.

"Look, I am 'effing stuck here out of all the places in the world, so you better tell me what this is before I start to scream bloody murder." I threatened as I got on my feet.

"Listen, Dad has ordered me not to tell you and I agree with him. You must not be included in such Pack matters Zoe." Gale crossed his arms on his chest as he spoke.

"No, you are going to tell me what this is about right now Gale or I swear to all that is holy that I will make your life miserable while you 'protect' me.Believe me, I'll act like a brat and try to find out what is happening by running away. And that my dear brother, is a promise." My voice came out low, just above a whisper. It was unlike me and scared the sh*t out of me.

Gale sighed and sauntered past me towards the window. His posture was stiff and tense although he was desperately trying to play cool and calm. I was his sister, God only knows who he was trying to fool with this calm demeanor.

"The Pack is on lock down." Gale blurted out after a few minutes of silence.

"Why?" I quizzed with an evident frown on my face.

"That is all you need to know Zola. Now relax, we are going to be here for a while."

"No way in hell! I am going out and demanding answers. You can't lock me in here!" I huffed and headed towards the door. Gale made no movement to stop me from leaving which aroused my curiosity. I pulled the door open but it didn't budge one bit. I kept pushing or wiggle the door knob but nothing happened.

"The door is locked from outside." Gale's amused voice filtered in the room.

"You can't lock me in here!" I repeated, feeling annoyed.

"Its best for you Zoe. Relax, I am here with you and we'll be out in a few hours." He grumbled and slouched down on the seat.

I muttered some incoherent words under my breath and walked over towards him. Gale moved aside a little and let me slide on the seat next to him. I glanced around the room for the first time, and it didn't look bad to be honest.

The walls were a deep brown color with golden chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Cream colored drapes and wooden furniture lifted the appeal of the room. In the corner of it was a huge plasma television placed and a mini bar next to it.

"So, there is a bar and a t.v. here, yet you want to sit like this?" I sassed and hit Gale on his head.

"You are not drinking Zola. Besides, I am enjoying this peace and quiet." He dropped his head on the back of the couch.
