"No. We don't know who it was but what we do know is that Elsa isn't safe. We need to find out who's trying to harm her." Derek said, talking to the pack. I stayed behind him, slightly embarrassed that I couldn't hold my own.

"Derek think about it. She's the first elemental angel in five hundred years. I'm sure that has something to do with this." Ginger said, she was very smart and sees things the way no one else has looked.

"That's actually pretty likely." Derek said. "But what is it that these people want from her?"

"I don't know. But I'm sure if do some research, we can find out. We know she's unique from the marks over her back and arms. Let's start there." Danny said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

We all decided to look things up. We looked online and in books. Hoping something would tell us what was going on. We didn't have any luck. I sighed and placed my head in my hands. "We are never going to find anything."

Derek put his arms around my shoulder. "Don't give up. We will figure this out Elsa." M cheeks heated up.

Derek's POV

Her cheeks blushed a wonderful pink. She looked so sad and scared. I didn't blame her. Of someone was after me I would be too. Of course I'd snap their necks before they could get to me. She was so fragile looking even though she wasn't even human. I couldn't help but want to hold her in my arms and make her feel safe. I shook my head. I couldn't think of her in that way. She's not a wolf so she can't be my mate. I had a mate. Somewhere out there. I couldn't betray that. I was alpha. If I went out of code and went with someone who wasn't my mate, I could lose everything. I would lose my alpha powers. I'd be just a beta. My pack needed me more than Elsa did. I growled under my breath and got up and walked away. Elsa stared after me, looking confused. I didn't mean to hurt her but I can't deal with this right now. She was to intoxicating.

Elsa's POV

He confused me a lot. He seemed like he was mad at me frequently lately. Anytime we got close he ran off angry. Maybe I should keep my distance from him. I sighed, something g I seemed to be doing a lot of this week. I was just so stressed. Who wouldn't be in my situation?

I got up from the computer and waved bye to the pack. I needed some peace and quiet. I walked home from the library that we were and went into the woods. I walked down till I was next to a small pond of water with a small mini waterfall. I fell back onto the grass and took a deep breath. The sun was shinning bright on my face and skin. It warmed me and I nuzzled it. The birds were so gong in the background and it was a surreal moment. I felt a lot better then what I did when I was at the library. I allowed myself to think here.

Who was it that wanted me dead? What was it about me that was of value to them? I shook my head. I didn't know. I felt like I'd never figure it out. I was so tired. Of everything. I wanted to be normal again. To live a normal life. Nothing was going right. I loved the fact that I had friends but I didn't want to be what I was. It was getting me kidnapped and almost killed.

I closed my eyes and felt myself drift away into the warm light of the woods. It was a peaceful slumber. But it didn't last very long. Something jumped on me.

I opened my eyes and gasped. Derek was sitting on me, eyes red and teeth glaring.

"Where were you!" He yelled.

"I - I was here. I fell asleep. I was only out for minutes."

"Try four hours! Elsa I was worried sick. I thought you were freaking dead!" He growled hitting the ground beside my head. He pulled me forward so I was in his arms. "I don't know what I'd do if you were dead. I need you."

I looked up at him, my heart beating wildly. He needed me. It made me feel so loved. I reached up and touched his face. His breath hitched in his throat. He inhaled deeply. When he opened his eyes again, they were hungry. He pulled my face to his. I could feel his breath on my lips. I closed my eyes.

"Derek did you find her?" Stephan yelled. Derek backed off of me and stood up, helping me to my feet.

"Yes I found her. She decided to take a nap in the woods." He growled. I rolled my eyes. How was I the bad guy here.

Stephan sighed. "We are all glad you're ok Elsa. Don't do that again. At least tell someone where you're going."

We all walked back to Derek's house. The girls were on the couch. Anna jumped up and ran over to me, throwing her arms around around my neck.

"Elsa we are so glad they found you. You ok?" She asked. I nodded.

"Yes. I fell asleep in the woods."

"Well at least your ok." Ginger said, smiling.

"Hey Elsa, since we are here, concealed. Could you show us your wings. And powers?"

I smiled and looked at Derek. Speaking his approval. He nodded, smiling at me. He loved to see me have fun.

I took the necklace off and my wings slowly reveled themselves. Ginger smiled and Anna's eyes lit up and Sera jumped up and down in delight.

"Elsa. You're beautiful! I've never seen anything so amazing." Sera said. I smiled. Suddenly I saw water coming at my face. I held out my hands and the water froze solid, into little balls. Everyone's mouth dropped. I slowly defrosted the water and I swirled the water around in the air. It looked like a tornado. I smiled. I felt so powerful. It was so easy to control. Like I've been doing it for my whole life.

"Elsa..." Derek said his words breaking off. I froze the water and sat it down in a cup.

"What Derek?" I asked.

"Your hair Elsa." Stephan said. Danny's mouth was hanging open.

I ran over to the mirror and looked. There was a light icy blue color spreading down a small chunk of my hair in the front. Like a highlight. It was beautiful. I smiled.

"What dose this mean?" I asked.

"I don't know Ells. But it's beautiful." Stephan said. Derek walked to my side and touched it.

"Could you get anymore beautiful?" Derek said. I blushed and looked down. I looked over at the girls and I swore that Sera was glaring at me. Was she Derek's mate? Surely Derek would know. I'd have to ask him later. For some reason that very idea made me angry. I snatched up my necklace and put it back on. I looked normal again, apart from the designs on my skin and blue in my hair.

I told everyone I was tired and they should get home. They nodded and left. Sera hugged Derek before she left and I wanted to throw the ice ball at her that sat in the cup. But I restrained from that.

Once everyone was gone I looked at Derek. "Is Sera your mate?"

He looked shocked. "No. Why would you think that."

"The way she looks at you. I just, I don't like it."

Derek grinned ear to ear. "What's wrong Elsa? You falling in love with me?"

I flushed bright crimson. "No. I just. Shut up Derek. I don't love you."

He smiled and kissed me on the cheek. I bout fainted. He laughed and went upstairs. "Goodnight Angel." He said.

Was I falling in love with him?
