Their Savior (an original poem)

Wow sorry for not posting! So here's a new poem. This is actually an original poem I wrote! I hope you enjoy it!!!

When the widow shop dummies came creaking to life

the girl in the shop ran for her life.

A life she didn't find remotely compelling,

was about to change without her knowing.

She was trapped from within not knowing her place,

until a mad man came from outer space.

Cornered by manakins no exit around,

Until a lone man appeared with out sound.

He took her hand and asked her her name,

"Rose" she said without shame

The strange man grabbed her hand and whispered, "run"

and together they ran for their lives.

This man saved Rose Tyler from the shop window dummies,

yet wasn't quite through with saving her life.

He said, "I'm a Time Lord. I'm from Gallifrey.

now tell me Rose Tyler do you want to see space?"

Together they went exploring the galaxies,

meeting new aliens learning new ways.

Rose Tyler from the boring shop life,

now exploring the universe,

with a time traveling alien, The Doctor is his name.

Rose fell in love with the mysterious man,

the man who saved her in so many ways.

But endings do come and for Rose it was sad.

Trapped in a universe where man can't escape.

The Doctor's two hearts cried out in pain,

burning up a sun to say goodbye

his last words said with a cry

"Rose Tyler I-"

The Doctor will never forget

the girl from the shop.

His love that broke both his hearts.

Over the years his companions come and go,

but the Doctor still travels alone.

Until one night Miss Amelia Pond,

name like a fairy tale had a crack in her wall.

She prayed for someone to save her life.

Then came along a bow tie wearing mad man with a box.

Amelia Pond only seven or eight,

showed him the crack, the voices, and noises.

She showed him, the Doctor who had not a clue,

as to why a crack like this was in her room.

He had to go check on his magical ship

"I'll be back in five minutes, just a hop to the moon"

The Doctor came back, only twelve years late,

to a Miss Amelia Pond with a crack still in her room.

He solved the mystery of the crack in her room,

and even the extra room no one knew.

He offered to take her through time and through space.

The Doctor not lonely with Amy taking her place.

The adventures they had, the aliens they faced.

The Doctor, Amy, and her new husband Rory,

traveled together through time and through space.

Many years passed with the young girl from Ledworth,

who didn't know her place.

But all stories must end just as hers must,

too soon it seemed for Amelia Pond.

Touched by an angel sent far back in time,

Rory now gone, now it's Amy's time.

Her hair waiving in the wind,

the Doctor pleading to no end.

This is the girl, Miss Amelia Pond,

who changed his life as he changed hers.

We are all stories in the end,

no one knows that better than the Doctor.

He saves peoples lives to make their stories better.

He saved them, he saved them all,

the traveling mad man with a box.
