She sits in silence
Deep in her thoughts
All alone in the dark
Her mind slowly rots
No energy, no spark
A vegetable.
She sits in silence
Unable to speak
Unable to feel
Everything looking bleak
Doctors say she won't heal
She sits in silence
While I do nothing
Afraid to let go
My heart crushing
Every second I know
That there's nothing I can do
But say goodbye
And hope this pain will subside
