Everyone says I put my brother in a coma. They’re right, but it was only because he told me to. He told me to the night he had beaten me in a game of ice hockey and bowling. He told me to the moment he asked my high school prom date out and later proposes; he knew I wanted to be the one who put the ring on her finger. He told me to the night of his engagement party when he asked cousin Al to be his best man instead of me, His own fucking brother! He told me to the day he made the football team even though he hated the got damn sport! I didn’t want to kill him, honestly I didn’t, but with all the free passes and hints he kept giving me, there was no way I could have ignore his wishes any longer. Everyone says I did it out of jealousy but really what did I have to be jealous about? We’re one and the same; not even brothers, more like twins. He is me and I him.
