01 | an ode to the night

128 10 3

When the sky is dark and black,

And the crickets chirp and the wind howls with fright,

Somewhere above the galaxy, a speck of light will crack,

Splattering the Night sky with light.

The sky, freckled with stars,

And kissed by the light of the moon,

Will shine the path to mars,

Under the path light by the lune.

And so, it truly is a comfort to know,

That you will rise by the day by day,

With all these light over the darkness now,

That grants Hope for the next day.
