Chapter 1

I was about to open my vehicle door when I heard something disgusting. I turned to my back and saw a couple in their very intimate moment inside an Audi. It was not sexy, it was actually disgusting. They owned an Audi but they couldn't afford a room?

I just went inside my car, started the engine and ignored the liberated couple. I was about to drive when someone knocked on my window. Who the hell is this man?

Irritated, I clicked the button to open my window.

"Open the damn door," the stranger said.

I was shocked but my reaction didn't show on my face. Paano akong nagawang utusan ng walang hiyang lalaking 'to?

"Why would I?" I asked him as I raised my eyebrow.

And when he looked at his left side, that's when I realized he was the liberated man in the other car. My goodness! Ito nga 'yung guy na nakikipaglandian kanina sa loob ng sasakyan! He was about to say something when I closed my window. I drove my way out but the liberated man blocked my way.

Mas lalo akong nairita kaya lumabas akong kotse para harapin ang bastos.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked him calmly but I made sure that my rage was evident in my voice.

He just shrugged then he went inside my car. Take note, he sat on the driver's seat.

"Hey! That's my car." I wanted to shout but that came out calmy again.

He stopped my car and opened the window a little, "Come on in!"

I didn't know what happened but I saw myself following his order.

"What do you think you're doing?" I asked him when I got in. Again, he just shrugged his shoulders telling me he didn't know and he didn't care. The nerve of this guy!

"Hey hey...that's not my way home," bahagya pa akong natuwa nang makarinig ako ng kaunting emosyon sa boses ko at nasisiguro kong kahit paano ay mahahalata ang taranta da mukha ko.

"As if I know where," he told me...emotionless. This guy is really something. I could not believe him.

"Then you should've just asked me!" iritadong sagot ko sakanya.

Sinagot niya ako na lalong nagpainis sa akin.

"Just shut up, okay?" he said. Napahalukipkip ako bigla.

"I can sue you for car-napping!" galit na galit kong sabi.

Namamangha pa rin ako sa sarili ko dahil nakakaya kong magpakita ng totoong nararamdaman ko sa lalaking ito. Lumalabas pala ang totoong ako kapag natataranta at nagagalit.

"Car-napping?" natawa 'yung lalaki nang bahagya. "Carnapping with the owner of the car?"

Natahimik ako bigla, hindi dahil sa sinabi niya kundi dahil sa tawa niya. There was something in his laugh na nagpatahimik sa akin saglit. I knew that laugh very well. That was the same laugh I did when my colleagues dared to make me laugh at their surprise party for me when I was promoted. That wasn't funny, but I just didn't want to be heartless that time. That would be very unappreciative.

"Yes," tanging nasabi ko. Ni hindi ko alam kung para saan ang yes na iyon.

Tumahimik ako pero pagkalipas ng ilang sandali ay hindi ko na napagilan ang mga tanong ko. Huminga muna ako ng malalim.
