The Beginning

"Naharia wake up we have to go, now!" Shadian shook Naharia to wake him. The (this is what everyone in the streets called  these people) RUBEs were after them.  They took people who had the Mark. If you had the Mark that meant you had the Power. The Mark is a slit on the person's eye. The Mark changes color when a person uses their Power. Enough with the introduction,  let's talk about the origins of Naharia and Shadian.

Origins

The brothers were both thirteen. Naharia is a white wolf with red markings all over him and Shadian is a just a white wolf with blue eyes. They are furries and brothers. If you don't know what a furry is, it's a animal who can stand on its hind legs, talk like a human, and change into other animals. For example, if a furry is a wolf it can change into a Husky or Dalmatian. Naharia had a girlfriend and Shadian just didn't date, divorced parents but they were friends, and four siblings, two biological and two step. One day they overheard their parents talking about their eyes. They said they had the Mark. They didn't understand what they were talking about so they went to their bedroom to see what their parents were talking about. When they looked into the mirror they had slits in their eyes! They didn't understand what was happening to them so they went to their parents. Their parents just stared at them because they couldn't believe that one of their children had the Mark because they didn't. They said they both, Naharia and Shadian, had the mark. They also said that the RUBEs would try to capture them if they found out Naharia and Shadian had the Mark. They also told them that they could could control anything around them and as they aged they could control larger things with a farther distance. They both stayed in their room because they were so scared. Also they usually stayed in there for days, just wondering about their slits. They also didn't go outside because they were so afraid of the RUBEs. One night they both got thirsty and wanted a drink, so they crep downstairs because it was dark and because everyone else was sleeping. When they peered around the corner of their stairs, they saw people robbing their house! They also saw their parents knocked out on the floor! They didn't know what to do so they went to their bedroom and thought of what to do. Then they heard the robbers footsteps on the stairs! They thought they were going to die that night. But they both thought to themselfs," I'm not dieing here, not like this." Shadian opened the window, Naharia peered out at the ground and they both jumped.
