"The name on everybody's lips is gonna be-" "Roxie!" I turn around to see Ben standing at the door of my dance room. I smile as I pause the music, "What are you doing here? Henry's working from home today." He makes his way to the middle of the room, "Well, I heard that you were having a little party." "A party?..," I furrowed my eyebrows, "I want to have one but-" He wiggles his eyebrows and I laugh, "He said yes, didn't he?" "Daddy's girl always get what she wants, even when she's a brat." "I am not a brat! I simply have very strong opinions that just so happen to get me spanked- but I've been good lately." "How is not telling someone you were naked before uncovering yourself, good?" I gasp, "He told you?" "He may have implied that I should knock before coming in here.." I roll my eyes, "I cannot be the only person that sleeps naked- it's scientifically impossible." He chuckles, while pushing me out of the room, "Yeah, sure, now let's go." "Wait, where are we going?" "Since, we are having a party tonight, in such cases short notice, Henry is planning and doesn't have time to take you out." "I'm a little worried about him.." Ben chuckled, "Why?" "He's a pretty introverted person planning a party.." Ben took a sip of his drink, "Well, he's only doing it because you asked." I roll my eyes, "Do you think we should check on him?" "You can if you want." I get up from the table and head outside, it's more quiet. I pull out my phone and dial Henry's number.
Ring... Ring... Rin-
"Yeah?" "Hey, you doing okay?" I heard him snicker, "Yeah, why do you ask?" "Because you don't throw parties.. At all. And I feel like you don't know how to throw one." "Of course I do-" "Henry, going to other parties and stealing their ideas doesn't count." There was a silence, like he was rolling his eyes, "You have so little faith in me.. What would you add to this party?" "Well.. I'd make it different from others.. And since it is October, I'd make it a costume party." "A costume party.. I don't kno-" "It'll be great for your colleagues and their kids.. Harry Potter candles hanging from the ceiling.. One of the pools looks like it's filled with blood.. Halloween shit just everywhere. It'll be a blast." He huffs, "I don't know how you do it." "What?" "Handle everything so well, have a solution to everything.. It's very adult of you." I frown, ".. Well.. I pretty much had to be one growing up- hey, I gotta go, my foods getting cold. Bye."
