Like anyone I was once a child
A wild thought in the head of the world
Growing and learning and innocent;
Young.I was smart, and in ways that were extreme
I had books instead of friends,
Was loved to no ends
Physics prodigy or noMy daddy was a loving man
My mother a goddess
I was a genius
But first I was their son,
Their pride and joy
Their shining star
And I was happy
But days as a child never last
With age for most
Mine just crashed
Burned with the drug that took my dad's love
Drained with the murdered void of blood
My dad became Father, The Vampire, cold
It was half his fault the story that unfoldsA human goddess cannot escape
Expertly tied restraints
A little boy
Must withstand
The memory of a baseball bat hitting bone
While he is tied to a wooden throne
Powerless to but cry out "MOM!"As death enters her eyes
