Episode 14: You're everything to me

Kotoko's POV

I'm not feeling well..
I always wanted to throw up every morning..
Irie kun is right, everything in our marriage isn't easy..
But I believe that as long as he's with me..
I can overcome all of these..

I entered the bathroom and undress myself..as I open the shower I had a glimpse of my tummy..
I held it with both of my hands, trying to feel the baby inside me.
Am I ready to be a good mother?

These is the question that kept coming in my mind.

I tried to calm myself and took a warm bath. Irie kun is waiting for me, I should hurry up.

20 minutes after..

I brushed my teeth and dried my hair.

I grabbed the bath towel and..

Kotoko: "Gosh! I forgot my clothes!"

I covered my body with the towel and slowly opened the door..

I saw Irie Kun standing in front of me. He is standing by the door.

Kotoko: "Irie----"

Naoki: "Are you looking for these?"

He showed me the dress and underwear I'm supposed to wear.

Kotoko: "Give it to me Irie Kun!!!"

I tried reaching it but he kept on raising it up..

Naoki: "What if I don't want to?!"

Kotoko: "Irie Kun!!! You'll be late for work!"

He continuosly raised my clothes and I jumped as high as I could to reach it!

But!

My towel fell off!!

I'm shocked and tried to cover my body!!!

Kotoko: "Huhu!!! Irie Kun!!"

Naoki laughed hard!

Naoki: "Haha! Don't worry I've seen that last night.. wait here."

He turned around and opened the closet as I immediatly grabbed the towel and covered it to my body.

He came back in front of me and gave me a pretty baby pink colored dress.

Naoki: "Wear this, you'll be more comfortable with it."

I took the dress and gave Irie Kun my sweetest smile..

Kotoko: "This is beautiful!! Thank you Irie Kun!!"

He smiled back and went outside our room.

Naoki: "I'll be waiting for you downstairs."

I excitedly dressed up and look at myself in the mirror.

Kotoko: "It perfectly fits me, Irie Kun is so sweet!"

I fixed my hair and put a little makeup on.

Few minutes later I went downstairs and saw Irie Kun reading a newspaper while sitting in the living room.

Kotoko: "Let's go Irie Kun!!" I shouted.

He folded the news paper and stood up.. He looked at me and said..

Naoki: "Are you forgetting something?"

Huh? What is he talking about?

Ah! Maybe the goodbye kiss a wife should give before the husband goes to work! Hihi!

I walked towards him and kissed him gently.

Kotoko: "You--- Irie Kun! Even though I'm going with you, you still wanted my Goodbye Kiss! Hihi!"

I teased him..

But he smirked and shook his head.

Naoki: "What I meant is your home made coffee --- Not a goodbye kiss."

I felt ashamed and lost for words.

Kotoko: "Ah! Oh that! ... So you're referring to a coffee? Ha..ha.. I see.. ok just wait here I'll make you one."

Omygosh! This is embarassing!
I rushed to the kitchen and make Irie Kun's coffee.

He must be laughing at me now!

How stupid Kotoko! Argh!

A moment later I returned to the living room carrying Irie Kun's coffee. I walked slowly and placed it on the center table.

Kotoko: "Here's your coffee Irie Kun!"

He gazed at the coffee and smiled.

Naoki: "Now, that's what I'm talking about."

Right after he finished his coffee. We walked together.

I held Irie Kun's arms..
I'm so happy right now hayy...

My daydreaming was interrupted the moment I saw someone familiar coming our way.

Aika: "Good Morning Doctor! Hi Kotoko!"

She's waving her hands while greeting us.

Kotoko: "Oh! Hi Aika! Where are you heading?"

Aika: "I'm heading back home and I'm in a bit hurry, It's nice to see you Kotoko as well as your brother! Bye!"

She ran quickly back to her house.

Irie Kun creased his forehead and asked..

Naoki: "Brother?"

Kotoko: "She thinks I'm your younger sister." I frowned.

Naoki: "Ah, is that so? Maybe because you looked like a highschool student."

There he goes again..
teasing me..

I turned my back..

While I folded my arms..

I sulked..

Instead of comforting me, I heard him talking to someone..

"Hey! Nice to see you Dr. Naoki.. Are you off to work?"

Naoki: "Yes, I am.."

Hmmm.. He's talking to someone with familiar voice..

I turned around and....

...my eyes widen!!

It's the man who almost hit me yesterday!!

He saw me shockingly then pointed his finger at me and said...

"YOU!!"

Oh no! Looks like I'm in trouble!!
