Dusk begins to dawn and I linger in the darkness,

Hoping that I won't succumb to this madness.

Fog swirls around my feet, making me transform,

Into a creature that I have never known.

A howl screeches inside my empty head,

Making me quiver and my words have gone unsaid.

Light loses its grasp inside of me, hoping to stay;

But cruelity takes over, making me feel grey.

When a brightness appears over the gloomy sky,

I was hypnotized, wanting to reach it and fly.

In the musky air, I escape with rapid paws,

For I am a wolf with unending flaws.
