Adrenaline burns my veins like poison as I stare into the eyes so similar yet so different now, I won't be able to keep my composure for long. I fixate my eyes on a passing advert vehicle. I stare in horror as I see my face reflected back at me, I look up and see my look of horror displayed in a live image on one of the tall buildings.

My dad can be so melodramatic. And stupid. I mean why give them action? It just defeats the purpose of trying to kill their brain cells... I mean sure let's fry them. Nope wait let's restart them. Oops freeze them again.

It's in those precious inbetween moments that people are able to themselves. Old couples in the streets staring into each other's eyes, emotion brewing threatening to boil over. People holding hands. Only for a moment.. The next the tears dry away and the couples receive their brain dead state once more. Never to cross paths again, until the next moment in ten years time.

I knew that I should treasure every moment but it is hard to when most of them are unpleasant- whack my face twitches. The most unbearable pain follows, giving the impression of a million fire ants crawling under my skin and then striking all in the same moment, the pain fills me, adding to the poison. My fathers green eyes are hard. I can see the anger behind them. My arms shake uncontrollably and before I know it I have slapped him back. Horrified at what I have done, yet not sorry, I step back. To see my father regaining his composure. Black guards rush at me from all directions manikin hands stretched towards me, electricity skimming over them with a pop.

I don't know where to go. I know I cannot outrun them. Yet because I have inflicted pain upon the most powerful man in the world... I would be fined.

The price I knew would be my head...
