Chapter 15

"Oka~~~~y, so what now?" Chorong and Jungkook swam in the ocean, still wondering about the next plan. "Now, you go to your well, in the story, you are to be talked to by your guard of some sort about how much water is better than the surface. Then, you say the surface sounds better and sooner or later, we have to meet the witch that helped me turn human" Jungkook explained.

"Wait, you asked for help from an octopus lady? Why?" Chorong asked with a smirk on her face. "I was desperate then, I had wanted to be human for- um, never mind" Jungkook shook his head. "For who? Was it the lady in the portrait?" Chorong was curious, he still hasn't told her about the lady.

Jungkook ignored her and they kept swimming, "okay, there's the guy you tell about your adventures of saving a man". Jungkook pointed a crab that was yelling at another mermaid. Chorong nodded and went to the crab.

From afar, you could easily see the crab scolding her for suddenly disappearing the when Chorong spoke to the crab, the crab shook his head and here comes the lecture. Jungkook just watched them from afar and waited for Chorong to come back.

MEANWHILE.......

"Prince Taehyung! Prince Taehyung!" a palace guard was trying to wake Taehyung ,the man Chorong saved, up. Taehyung's eyes slowly opened "what's going on?" he asked. The palace guard helped him up and said "the king will be relieved to know you're alive".

Taehyung nodded and let the guards drag him back to the palace.

The King ,his father, waited in the throne room hoping for good news. When Taehyung entered the throne room, his father smiled widely and ran to Taehyung to give him a big hug. "Taehyung-ah! I'm so glad you're alive" said King Kim Jongkook. Taehyung smiled "I'm glad to be alive, but father, someone saved me" said Taehyung hoping his father would let go.

"Then let's thank that person! Who is it son?!" said the King with his loud boomy voice. Taehyung scratched the back of his neck "I barely saw her but heard her voice father". "A SHE?!" shouted the king. Taehyung nodded "I saw the back of her head and I heard her voice, but I wasn't able to see her face".

The King sighed "don't worry son, she'll come sooner or later once she finds out it was a prince she saved". Taehyung sighed "but what if she doesn't come BECAUSE she saved a prince". The King then "take my son to his room, he needs to wash up". The guard nodded but Taehyung shooed the guard away and went to his room himself.

A splash of water hit his face, Taehyung looked into the mirror "who was she?!" he shouted. He was only able to catch a glimpse of the back of the girl's head, he wasn't even able to see if her hair was long or not. Taehyung grabbed a fist full of his hair in frustration.

BACK TO CHORONG AND JUNGKOOK......

"Jungkook-ah" Chorong pouted looking so tired that her eyes were half open. "Why? What's wrong?" Jungkook asked. "I don't want to hear another lecture from that crab about the water being better than the surface" Chorong pouted cutely that Jungkook blushed a bit.

"Okay, we should get to the octopus witch but with that crab" Jungkook said without looking at Chorong. "Why with the crab?!" Chorong complained. "Because he'll help you on the surface" Jungkook explained. Chorong lightly hit his arms and said "not with the crab please?". Jungkook shook his head, "no, we must not go against the story".

Chorong sighed "fine, let's go meet that octopus witch Ursula". "You go with the crab, I can't go, she'll recognize me" Jungkook said. Chorong sighed "so....... Okay".

Chorong went to the crab and begged him to accompany her somewhere. Jungkook was leading them to Ursula but only Chorong could see him, the crab/sebastian, was unaware and just followed Chorong.

Then, they arrived at Ursula's cave and sebastian said "are you crazy? So you know where we are?". Chorong nodded "yeah, so be quiet". They entered the cave and they heard a voice, "can I help you dear?". Chorong bravely answered "yes, I heard you can help me meet who I wish to meet".

Ursula appeared with a smirk "you heard right, I can do what you wish. But there is a condition". Chorong gulped and sebastian was hiding way behind them. "What is the condition?" Chorong asked, "give me your voice, and I'll grant your wish" said Ursula. Jungkook gulped while watching them, he then remembered the condition she asked from him.

FLASHBACK........

"Please, I beg of you, turn me human" Jungkook pleaded to Ursula. Ursula smirked "fine, but there is one condition". "Anything, just name it!" Jungkook said. Ursula spoke "give me something very precious to you, if you don't give it to me, I'll take it". Jungkook nodded and handed her his first ever pocket watch.

Ursula nodded and took the pocket watch but she didn't seem satisfied. Jungkook was happily a human, but a few days later, Zelda disappeared. Ursula probably took her but everyone says she died, Jungkook had to get over her.

Jungkook sighed "the condition is just her voice" he said under his breath. Then Ursula spoke "give me your voice, actions speak more than words correct?" . Chorong was surprised "my- my voice? A-alright". Ursula then performed a spell and said "oh yeah, and if he doesn't kiss you in 3 days, you'll be turned back into mermaid, you'll never turn back into human". Chorong nodded and before she knew it, she was on shore.

Jungkook thought quick and gave her a coat to wear. Chorong put it one and sebastian was right next to her.

"Chorong, have you gone mad- you have legs?!" Sebastian yelled. Chorong nodded and when she tried to speak, nothing was coming out of her mouth. Sebastian sighed "right, you can't speak, what boy has to kiss you anyway?". Chorong raised an eyebrow then Sebastian sighed again "right, you can't speak".

A dog suddenly appeared barking at Chorong with his tongue out. Chorong's eyes widened and she jumped on a rock.

A man came yelling "SOONSHIM!! SOONSHIM!!" Taehyung came to his dog and his gaze met with Chorong's. Taehyung stopped the dog and said "sorry, my dog is a bit, active".

Chorong smiled and Taehyung said "do you know me?". Chorong shook her head then Taehyung asked "can you speak?". Chorong shook her head and Taehyung asked "did you get washed up on shore?". Chorong shrugged hoping it would seem like she forgot where she's from.

Taehyung sighed "come with me, I'll help you get washed up". I just got washed up on shore Chorong smiled at her own joke that she can't tell. I can't believe I can't speak, I regret that condition Chorong thought.

Taehyung helped Chorong off the rock, and when he saw the back of her head, he was frozen. She looked exactly like the girl that saved him but she couldn't speak. Taehyung sighed "do you remember anything? Like friends or families?". Chorong shook her head.

Taehyung then thought to himself 'I hope she lost her voice before she saved me, I hope she's the girl I'm looking for'.

Chorong also thought to herself 'how am I supposed to do this?how can I do this? My life is over, I'm so done for! T_T'.
