I was actually happy. That was nice for a change.
I lived right above the studio and recorded all my songs with Larry. It's only been a week and I've got several songs out on the radio so far.
A few people started to recognize me and I felt all warm inside.
When I went to my old house to get my things, my dad was there surprisingly. He tried to apologize for hitting me but, I told him to save it.
I smiled as I walked downstairs into the studio where Larry was waiting patiently for me.
"Hi Larry." I smiled as I closed the door.
He smiled and muttered a 'Hey' back.
I pulled a chair up next to him and we started messing around. This is how we created songs. I started yelling random things off the top of my mind since we both had writer's block.
Then I stopped, an idea popping into my head.
I ran and grabbed the guitar, and started to play it.
'I settled Down
A twisted up frown
Disguised as a smile well
You would have never known
I had it all but not what what I wanted
Cause hope for me was a place uncharted
And over grown
You's make your way in
I'd resist you just like this
You can't tell me to feel
The truth never set me free
So I did it myself
You can't be too careful anymore
When all that is waiting for you
Won't come any closer
You've got to reach a little more
More
More
More
Open your eyes like I open mine
It's only the real world
A life you will never know
Shifting you weight to throw off the pain
Well you can ignore it
But only for so long
You look like I did
You resist me just like this
You can't tell me to heal
And it hurts remembering
How it felt to shut down
You can't be too careful anymore
When all that is waiting for you
Won't come any closer
You've got to reach a little more
More
More
More
The truth never set me free
The truth never set me free
The truth never set me free so I did it myself
You can't be to careful anymore
When all that is waiting for you
Won't come any closer
You've got to reach a little more

I finished it up and he gave me an impressed look. He pointed to the booth and I got in, recording the song just how I remember it.
He called in the professional musician people and they recorded the instruments for me.
Then I realized Larry's new band was coming in tomorrow. That's great! Note the sarcasm.
I sighed and spun in the chair once before leaving and going down to the lounge. I was thirsty, and, I needed a break.
Then I cheered up. The guys would be back in town tomorrow!
====================
-Matt's POV-
"C'mon guys! We have to leave now if we want to get there in the morning!" I yelled at them. They 'Whooped' and hollered and we all got into my SUV.
It's been so long since we've been in Huntington Beach, it's almost forgein.
"Dude, turn on the radio!" Brian yelled from the back.
I hit the button and a song I've never heard came on. It was called 'Pressure' and the girl who was singin it had a really pretty voice.
'That was the number two song and now for number 1. "Bat Country" by Avenged Sevenfold.' The person on the radio said. We all cheered, and I wondered who was singing the song before us.
