My eyes flickered opened as I heard a loud knock on my door. I groaned and rolled off my bed taking the sheets with me and landing on my fuzzy black carpet. I seriously think I strangled myself trying to get out of my black sheets. I stood up and straightened my shorts as I walked to my black poster and picture covered door. I yanked it open and was met with my sister's fury. "MOM TOLD YOU THAT YOU HAD TO DRIVE ME TO CHEERLEADING TODAY!! NOW I'M FUCKING LATE!!" Steph screamed, her face reddening. "Sorry..." After my shower I applied my eyeliner, mascara, and a quick swip of lip gloss. I grabbed my Invader Zim bag with my pins, writing and everything else on in and jogged downstairs. "Hey mom!" I waved to her as I was coming down the stairs. "Where ya going?" My mom said, smiling and flipping pancakes. "Uh, the mall. I want to go see if they have the new BVB album." I said as I grabbed a plate and some food and sat down on a stool. I quickly scarfed them down since I haven't ate in like almost a day. "Slow down, honey. Your gonna choke." She said and placed a hand on my shoulder. I swallowed hard and smiled as I pushed my plate back and slid off the stool. I walked towards the door as my step dad and mom stopped me. "Hold on, Sayde. We wanna give you something." My mom said as she dug in her huge purse. "What?" I impatiently starting tapping my foot. Said handed me two black and white tickets and two chains. "Here, happy early birthday baby girl." I turned around the tickets and stared at the name printed on them. " Black Veil Brides" was writen in slated text.
