Does anyone read a fanfic and then suddenly burst out laughing at how ridiculous and stupid it is? Not to mention unrealistic? Then everyone in the room look at you like you're crazy.

Ok so once I read a really good BTS fanfic. It was realistic, it was funny, it was sweet, and it was perfect! The bts members acted the way they do in real life, and there were even some quotes in there from the actual bts members. It was perfect.

BUT...
20 chapters in, I was crying, laughing, giggling. I was so impressed with this fanfic, when suddenly, Jimin was running away from Jungkook, and got hit by a car. When he woke up, can anyone guess what happened? Anyone?

THAT'S RIGHT! Jimin had "selective amnesia" and the only person he forgot was Jungkook.
This so called "plot twist" shows up in so many fanfictions that it gets tiring.
One or two, ok fine, but at this rate people can see it coming from a mile away!
Because of this mainstream plot twist, the word car is always associated with the word amnesia.
You read about someone driving a car and you immediately think "Oh damn they're about to get in an accident and get amnesia..."
I love a good plot twist but this one has been way overused.
