There was soooo much editing and fixing to do that it took awhile but it's up now.  I strongly suggest that you read it there if you have KU or are willing to donate a few bucks to my coffee fund.  This version isn't going to be updated, sorry.

Is anyone else tired of the super rich top/Dom saving the poor younger man who is broke(n) and practically living on the streets after being thrown out of his house by his abusive parents?  Said twink is either a virgin or selling his body to get by.  The top is a jerk to everyone but his best friend and gets swept off his feet by the young, needy boy.  And there's always a crazy ex, too, some ex who will do anything to get his daddy or boy back.  It's a good story, I won't lie, but I've read it 100 times.  Well, if you want another one of those, sorry, this is NOT that.  

No, this is a story about Finn, a kick-ass man who has more money than he can spend and a big, loving family who aren't phased at all by his sexuality.  He doesn't NEED a man, but maybe he really wants one.  The question is, can he admit at least to himself that what he wants and needs might actually exist?  Is he willing to give Emmett the benefit of the doubt and try?  And Emmett, can he look and really SEE Finn and all that he has to offer? More importantly, is he brave enough to risk being what Finn needs, knowing it might get thrown back in his face?

This isn't a hardcore BDSM book, nor is it true DDlb.  It's going to touch on those elements though, a bit, so if those are hard limits for you, be warned :)  If they're soft limits, you'll probably be alright.  ENJOY!!

Peter and Tristan from 'Rise & Grind' are in this book.  R & G takes place BEFORE this book but its not mandatory that you read that one first.

Emmett Locke gave up on love years ago; that is, if you can give up on something you never really believed in. Sure, he would have gladly accepted a relationship and consistent sex, but it just wasn't that easy. He didn't do bars, clubs, or any of the other things gay men were 'supposed' to do and he sure as hell wasn't going on some stupid app. Besides, he just wasn't boyfriend material.  He'd accepted, rather begrudgingly, that no one was just going to fall into his lap.

Finnegan Walker IV had no time for any of the stupid men who wooed, harassed, or eye-fucked him on a seemingly hourly basis. He wasn't dumb, even if people assumed he became Vice-president of his family's company at the ripe old age of 24 because of his name. Being smart meant that he refused to be used for his money, name, looks, or body and the fact was that by the end of his long days he had very little left to give. Why couldn't he meet someone who didn't want to take, take, take? That was alright; there were more important things in life.

Friday afternoon, their worlds collided. Literally. Emmett and Finnegan probably never would have met otherwise. They may as well have been from different planets. Luckily for them both, Finn was reckless. Or maybe it really *was* Emmett's fault?

Also, just an FYI: This is going to take place in The Rise and Grind universe, in Baltimore.  So, you'll get to see a bit more of Peter and kitten.  If you plan to read this story and haven't read that one yet, go for it :)

Fair warning, this one starts a bit slow but when it takes off, boy, does it get hot!  I mean, raunchy.  If DDlb raunchy sex isn't your cup of tea, this may not be the right book for you.
