The Start of a Lovely Year

CHAPTER FOUR:

Well this was slowly becoming an awkward gathering. I took a calming breath, wiping any emotion off my face and looked at them. "Hello Demitri, it's a surprise seeing you's again" I test out the waters with my greeting. "Surprise? A surprise? You think this is a surprise? This an anstonisment. What- how- where-... What just happened here?" I looked to my left and slightly bumped shoulders with Cassie. She rolled her eyes at me, moving to stand in the middle of this confrontation.

"Hi, I'm Cassie. Now there's of cause a logical explanation of what just happened here. You see we had planned this sort of cosplay scenario a few weeks ago, to give us something to do once we arrived here. You guys just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time" Cassie lied smoothly with a smile gracing her lips. She was honestly amazing.

"A cosplay? Those punches sounded quite real, along with that broken arm!" Cole came into the conversation. "Oh those were just sound projections that they have under their clothes" Cassies waved an arm in their direction. "When will they be getting up?" "They are paid professionals, they don't come out of character until we've left the scene, which I adivse we do now, I don't think the ground is quite confortable for them" Cassie said grabbing Nick and Coles arm and dragging them further away from this mess, not letting them go.

I let Luke grab my hand and walk me behind the lovely trio. While Demetri and Blake silently reared up the group.

"Well this should be far enough, I guess you guys can go home now, just as we will" Cassie said letting go of their arms. Both their faces instantly were filled with relief as Cassie seemed to have cut off their circulation in their arms. "It was a pleasure meeting you all, Goodbye!" Cassie said chirpily and skipped away towards my parents house with Blake following her like a lovesick puppy. They were perfect for each other.

"I would say it was a pleasure meeting you guys as well, but frankly it was an awkward experience, so peace" Luke told them and left behind with an evil smirk in my direction. I glared at him, already thinking of all the ways I could torchure him for leaving me with these people.

"You have nice friends there Ana" Nick commented smiling slighty. "It's Juliana to you guys, and thanks. They're my best friends" I told them. I saw Nick and Cole's eyes drop to the ground, only allowing me a second to see the emotion that passed by. The emotion of sorrow. "Anyway I'll be taking my leave no-" I was cut off by demetri speaking up. "How long are you staying for?" he asked me.

"That's a question I can not answer nor predict, sorry I must join my friends. Goodbye, see you at school" I told them leaving them behind. I quickly turned the corner of a new street seeing my house near the end right beside Demetri's slightly larger household. I turned my head around for a brief second to see the three boys that I used to be close to having a serious conversation that seemed to have all their muscles and facial features tensed.

I narrowed my eyes in confusion before catching up with my friends to see them trying to get past the security gates yet to no avail. I chuckled pushing past them as if I owned the place, which I did anyway but that doesnt matter. I typed in the secret passcode and smirked as the gate opened. "Show off" Blake mumbled putting away his code cracker device into his pocket.

I poked my tongue at him and welcomed them onto my property, feeling enlightened that I'll be staying with my parents for more than a week and am able to let people know I'm back.

| Three days later |

It's been 2 fun filled days communicating with my parents just like we used to, though we now have an extended family, with my best friends/ co-workers. We have already opened up a folder with much needed information about Demetri's family, more specifically his father, Donald Loupe.

We scouted a 2 km radius of this street, scooping out all the residence inside the circle. We have ruled out almost every single one that has no connections what so ever with their family in a negative means. We're hacked into their electronics, computers, landlines, laptops etc. We've catched up on their personal files being completely professional throughout the whole ideal. I honestly think I deserved an oscar for my acting professions.

Anyway we were producing a fairly strong account on this mission. Cassie and Blake have been using every free moment they have to collecting important information from their secret intells. Luke has been practising his fighting techniques with my dad, they seemed to have formed a strong father-son bond. I on the other hand have been mentally preparing myself for the worst outcomes this mission can throw at me.

Being discovered due to being recongnisable. Having troubles in school. Not being able to keep my head focused completely into this mission. But I have managed to calm all my useless nerves and thought rationally. I am a brand new person. I have amazing new friends that have my back no matter what. I am different. I am strong. I can do all what is given to me. I will complete this mission and become a better spy. I'll get to the top of this whole case.

Right now it is the third day in the early morning. We are currently readying ourself for the day ahead of us. Were going into tricky grounds. We will be offically starting our assignment. We'll be starting High School at Ghato Private. Our uniforms were delivered yesturday afternoon with our bosses name signed on the good luck card.

"How am I suppoed to put my silencer carrier in this school jacket when there are too many pockets and it's so stiff like a suit?" Luke complained. I grinned at him. "Almost makes you wish you were a girl aye?" I said lifting my skirt up to reveal my black spy shorts with my own gun carrier on it. I placed the gun in its holder and let my skirt go. Couldn't even tell i had it on. I smirked at Luke's irritated face.

"I knew I should of just gone undercover as a girl" Luke said giving up and just chucking his gun in a secret compartment in his modified backpack, identical to the rest of ours. "I thought I told you?" Cassie said confused for a second. "I adjusted your boots so you can fit a small gun or a knife in it without being uncomfortable" she continued on. Luke's face lightened up and he threw his arms around Cassie and lifted her up in the air, earning himself a squeal in return. "I love your amazing brain!" he told her.

"As much as I like seeing you hugging my girlfriend and telling her you love her, we have to go before we are late to school on our very first day" Blake joked from the doorway of the underground training lounge room. I ran to him and grinned in his face. "Late to school? On the very first day? That's just what I would love to do at that very rich private school we're going to be attending for who knows how long!" I told him with a pout.

He stared at me then patted my nose. "Alright, how about we arrive 5  minutes before school, so that means we're not late but we'll miss out on first period because we'll be in with the principal" he concluded. "Just like Luke said, I love you's and your brain!" I told him skipping out of the room and shuffling everyone into the elevator to go to the main floor of our house.

We had grabbed quick breakfasts consisting of a fruit each, yelled goodbyes to my parents and raced out of the house and jumped into our one car. Which may I add was a similar version to the one I was using back at headquarters the other day. Though this one was silver and looked more like a regular rich high school car.

"This is the start of a lovely year in our brand new high school guys, may we have a kick-assing great time!" I yelled to everyone in the car, hearing them hoot in return as we continued our travel to hell.

Hope you guys enjoyed this, I felt like I used less repetative words in this chapter, which just means my advance english classes are paying off. :]
