Scene : empty parking lot window of forest shop one group of sun flower's sits in view a man sets 12 bouquets of roses next to the sunflowers as the man leaves the roses awake looking at the small bouquet of flowers
They snicker at the them " well I guess Mr . And Mrs farmer forgot to pick up there flowers? Now didn't they darling ?" One of the roses sneered
" Yeah none of these people want sunflowers for a Valentine's day gift there not hicks for rose bud sake!" Another one laughed the rose glare at the sunflower who knelt down withering with there words of hate
" Oh is the poor sunflower going to cry waahaa!" A rose spat the sunflower looked away wiping away the tear from its nonexistent yellow eye
" Awe the poor baby !" A rose teased it as a customer stopped looking at the sun flower touching its leave shaking his head he laughed
Grabbing two bouquets of roses and walking away the sun flower hid its attachments protectively he cried
-time jump-
It was night time all of the roses had been sold shop manager set out a few more for the next day he placed one close to the sunflower
He looked up seeing that the rose had a slight color defect the tips of her were white she woke up looking at him
She smiled he looked away " hi I'm Rosalyn !" She said holding out her leaf " hi I'm Jefferson !" He said shaking it
She looked down at his leaf " I've never met a sunflower !" She laughed
He chuckled " and I've never met a nice rose !" She blushed " well that's because these people are jealous of you!"
He shook his head " not possible I'm a sunflower for sell on Valentines day for rose bud sake how could they possibly be jealous of me?"
He asked she smiled " well they all look the same so they are there for jealous !" She pointed out
" we'll of that's true that means that there jealous of you too !" He pointed out she laughed " yeah *yawn* I guess it does !"
He nodded " night then !" He said she nodded dozing off he smiled thinking- I have a friend - before falling asleep
Next day
He woke up facing the sun rays with face he yawned spreading his leaves " ouch!" He looked over he had accidentally hit Rosalyn with his leaf
" Oh I'm so sorry !" He said sighing " its okay Jefferson!" She smiled " so where did you come from?" He asked
" Hmm new Orleans you?" She laughed " oh Boston!"he answered " sounds like a great place to live!" She said
He nodded " yeah so new Orleans not that bad!" She rolled her eyes " I guess so !" She said as a customer walked up to them
He had silver eyes and golden hair his eyes scanned the flowers looking at them he saw Rosalyn reaching for her
Jefferson grabbed her hand " don't leave me !" He whispered " don't let me go them!" She begged him as the man grabbed her ripping her from his grasped
He cried " Rosalyn !"
He felt a pain in his stem looking down he felt love and sadness all at once " Rosalyn !" He whispered
He closed his eyes seconds later he felt himself being picked up " mommy mommy look its the sun mommy daddy will love this !"
He looked seeing a girl her hair was in pigtails and she was missing her front teeth " OK well get it make sure you tell daddy happy valentines day to him OK?"
The woman asked the girl nodded holding Jefferson to her chest " I going to give you to daddy and he will love you forever!"
She whispered he sighed as they went into the car
* later*
There was a bump Jeffersons eyes shot open he must have fallen asleep looking around he saw that he was in the car
The door opened and the mother unbuckled her daughter from the car seat the girl hopped out carrying him he sighed missing Rosalyn
The woman opened the door letting the child in he saw a jacket hung over a chair " Jareth were home we go a surprise for you!" The woman called
" What is it ?" He asked " its surprise daddy so you can't know what it is !" The girl said laughing
" Oh right I forgot !" He chuckled " yeah you silly daddy!" She gigged " yeah daddys silly !" Jefferson heard footsteps
He gasped seeing the silvered eyed man who had bought rosalyn " wow is that for me ?" He asked the girl nodded
" Well I got you a surprise to!" He knelt down " ready?' He asked " yeah daddy!" He smiled pulling out a card with a little chocolate heart attached to it
" And one for mommy !" He said pulling out a rose with white edges Rosalyn she smiled seeing him " oh thank you hunny "
The wife said " your welcome now let me put these one the window seal and then we can have dinner !" He said picking up Jefferson
He set them side by side on the window seal Jefferson looked over at her Rosalyn smiled " I'm glad that we get to see each other !"
She smiled leaning over she kissed him on the cheek " me too!" he said looking at her " I'm glad were here to!" He said :scene screen fades into black
