Fluttering heart
Your words, leaving a flutter
Inside my heart, mutter,
A sweet lullaby, calming,
My soul and at same time thundering.
Never had I sensed this before,
Entirely different from those familiar emotions,
Which I had felt before,
Numbing my sanity, right at the core.
Even though, I know
That there is something unique, yet without a show,
I let it pass, being the ignorant one,
But now the burden weighs like ton.
I wish, I could embrace the hold,
But I fear the cold,
My heart filled with ifs,
Letting loose my wits.
That explicit curiosity of yours,
Makes me shudder, without power.
That trust, which you beholds,
Is what I don’t want to be told.
I fear the reality,
Unlike my sweet dream’s clarity,
It’s shadow, always overpowers
My thoughts, making my hopes descend from tower.
Wishing that if someday,
My dreams turn into reality,
That you would understand my hesitation,
Without letting run your own creation.
