The Dark's TriadHere is my first ever poem that i gave a try to. I don't know if it's my best work or not but surely it's special to me . The poem talks about the trio (loneliness, depressing thoughts that makes you faces your fears and demons and a deadly combination of insecurity and self-doubt) that darkness brings along. I've tried to put in words my view on black (and darkness) and how skewed your opinions and views have and can been. And there are some editing too, so pls give it a read and leave comments below.
The Dark's Triad
By- Tanya
Dark is what is preferred when light starts to haunt,
Dull ambience solaces the light of our hearts;
And we feel a rented relief, whose rent is still due.
Dawn is uneasy for what's to come; dusk a tired sigh for bitter-sweet days gone by.
Despite sharing an unsaid animosity,
Dark nurtures and light preys on.Night darkens and starts getting deeper,
While light seems to lose its essence.They gradually turn tail,
And start caring for each other,
Standing above their perplexed relation.
That entangled them,
But never belonged;
Embarking a new chapter, a new journey.They end up unweaving,
The fabric of their very existence.They see a different horizon,
At which they meet at dusk and dawn to tell the world,
The shunned tale of their love;
Of their woebegone journey of togetherness;
The pain and the sufferings of separation;
Despite walking the long day hand-in-hand.But the shallow world often judges the misjudged,
And recites the majestic fables of their duels than thier love.Perception !!! Huh!!!
That's what has made the world blind
And that's why darkness and light,
Are the enemies we find.But one day ....... or maybe night;
They will get what they yearn for,
For forgotten togetherness
When light will be dark and dark will be light.TOTD (Thought of the day):
