the girl that is me

i look in her eyes and i really know
how it feels when she wants to let go
the pain and hurtis so hard to describe
some times she wonders if she is even alive
i feel her pain and truely understand
how much she longs for someone to take her by the hand
i know how it feels to always feel alone
i wish i could let her know she is not on her own
so yes i also know the confustion deep down inside
and behind a fake smile is wheir it all hides
but the girl that is in so much pain that no one can see
the girl that i am talking about is me
