I am from love
The kind that warms your heart.
Love from family that surrounds me
Love for all that I enjoy
And most importantly,
the love I learned to share.

I am from the beautiful nature
Adventurous walks wherever
Splash of ponds make you shiver
Comforting cool breeze
Dainty red rose astray

I am from the night
From blankets bundled tight
Thoughts that consume my mind
Darkness wears down my time

I am from the heart
Maybe too strong for my own good
At times my heart needs it that way
I don't mind it too much
My heart and I are dear friends
