today
i want to tell you how much i love you.
i've said it a million times,
i've put it in many poems
and rolled it in many cigarettes;
but today
i need you to be aware
that you are the most
beautiful woman in my life,
that you are my world,
someone i would run to
the second i saw them
in another life.
my soul has been falling in love with yours
for billions of years,
these 10 weren't any different.
a day that passes without you in it
is a day wasted.
