Vanessa's pov
finally today is the day I am graduating from NYU
my family, my friends, and my lovely boyfriend Ashton will be in the crowd of my ceremony when I get my diploma and i'll be back in Australia.
"Vanessa you look stunning" my roommate Maddie says to me
"do you really think so?" I ask as I look in the body mirror
"I don't think so I know so" she says
"I cant believe we are graduating today.....like oh my god" I say
"I know seems like yesterday we were shaking hands with each other and now we will be hugging and saying goodbye" she says, warm tears come down our faces
"oh my god im gonna miss you" I say sniffing the tears
"im gonna miss your accent" she says and I laugh and pulling out of the hug and as I look at my watch its almost 12:30
"ok we need to get out there" I said
"Okay do I look okay?" she asked me
"You looked Beautiful, now stop worrying. your husband and my boyfriend it out there" I said with a smile
~LATER IN THE RECEPTION~
*have graduation music on*
"And last but not least Vanessa Duncan" my professor Dr. Willow
"And we also have a message for you, Miss Duncan" he adds I stare at him weird but then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see the love of my life, Channing Tatum. Just kidding it was Ashton Irwin the real love of my life, as I smile
"Vanessa we've been together for pretty long time together, and I remember when we first met, it was at Mrs. Edwards class" Ashton says with smile and into a mini pocket microphone
"I remember our first date, it was at the movies, we were watching 21 jump street and we laughing our asses off" he says as he earned some laughs from the crowd
"I remember our first kiss, first break up, first fight, first time, and the first time we held hands" he says, where are you getting to?
"Your probably wondering what are you getting to this? well that's gonna be answered" he says, gets on one knee, gets out a box and as I gasp and put my hand over my mouth "will you Vanessa Duncan let me change your last name? in other words will you marry me?" he added and as hot tears ran down my face and as I nodded yes
He slides the ring on my ring finger, also earning a lot of claps and whistles
"JUST KISS HER ALREADY!!!" I herd Asante yell across from the crowd
Ashton looks at me and we both shrug and kiss each other passionately and earning more cheers and whistles
We broke off and walk down the stairs and hugged everybody and also Thanked everyone for the congrats
Once I saw Mack and Asante, I get out of Ashton's arm around my waist and ran as I fast as I can with heels. When I got to them I jumped on them
"Oh my god you know how much I missed you guys" I said, more tears come down
"Umm well don't we feel the love, don't we boys" I herd Calum say
"I missed you guys too" I said embracing from the hug to hug the boys
"So Luke and Calum how does it feel to be married for 2 years" I ask them letting go of the hug and as Ashton arm finds his way around my waist
"It's beautiful" they say at the same time
"Are my parents here?" I ask
"Umm we need talk about that" ash said serious
"What?" I said sadly
Did they die and no one told me? I'm shaking. what happen to them?
"Yeah there....here over there talking to your professor" he said laughing
"Oh my god Ash you scared me, I hate you" I said hitting him with my diploma
"You know you lovvvvvvve me" he said
"You guys are to cute to be true" Mack said as I stop hitting him the diploma
"Thank you, but this 20 year old acts like a little 10 year old" I said with smile. We then started walk over to my parents
This is probably one of the best moments of my life
"Life as me isn't easy, but life with you can make it way better"
