Everyone's trying to be poetic and it scares me
What if everyone becomes poets?
What if everyone becomes a poet?
Too many people are starting to think
How I think
And it scares me
It's a depressing circumstance and I don't want that
To continue
I contemplate the certainty that the sun will one day crush me
And
It will, certainly
As will the raging ball of fire inside of the earth
Will that crush me too?
Everyone's trying to make danger poetic
and poetry is drawing me in
So, what if everyone becomes poets?
